IHFC

The Interagency Home Finance Cooperative ("IHFC") offers membership to state and local housing agencies without regard to geographic location or organizational capacity. The IHFC provides all required program services in cooperation with Trio and its operating partners. Political and financial benefits are provided directly by the IHFC to its members.

The IHFC, Trio and their partnered industry members have worked diligently over the past two years to establish the current framework for the IHFC, the OwnOption Mortgage and Trio's homeownership financing program.

IHFC Members Believe:

America needs common sense home financing reaching beyond credit scores;
Traditional mortgage financing no longer works for the majority of America post-recession;
Neither government nor private industry on their own can effectively solve the financing gap;
The reinvention of existing financing tools can solve the problem; and
Public-private partnerships with effective multi-disciplined leadership are required.

Membership in the IHFC:

IHFC members must be Federal, state or local government housing or finance agencies.
Membership is limited and based on geographic location.
Participation on the Advisory Board of the IHFC is by invitation only.
The Executive Committee is comprised of IHFC Charter Members.
A one-time membership fee is required to join.
